BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sep 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Books-A-Million™, the second-largest bookstore retailer in the United States, is proud to announce the launch of its Fall 2026 Coffee for the Troops campaign, continuing its longstanding partnership with Soldiers' Angels to support U.S. military service members and veterans.
The campaign will run from September 19, 2026, through October 17, 2026, with an ambitious goal to collect over 50,000 bags of coffee. During this period, customers at Books-A-Million and 2nd & Charles stores nationwide, as well as online, can purchase bags of Joe Muggs Coffee to be donated to deployed service members, VA hospital patients, and veterans. Longtime roasting partner Royal Cup will once again support the effort by providing a generous 10% match contribution toward the final total. Additionally, customers are invited to write personalized messages of gratitude and encouragement on the donated bags, providing a heartfelt connection to home.
Books-A Million's Vice President of Operations Scott Kappler said, "With over 14 years of partnership alongside Soldiers' Angels, we've seen firsthand how a simple gesture can brighten the days of our troops and veterans. Aiming to collect more than 50,000 bags of coffee this fall reflects the commitment to making this campaign bigger and more impactful than ever, and we can't wait to see our communities come together once again."
All donated coffee will be distributed globally and domestically through Soldiers' Angels. Coffee for the Troops is a biannual campaign that has supported members of the military community for more than 14 years.
"Something as simple as a cup of coffee can provide a familiar comfort and a meaningful connection to home. We are incredibly grateful to Books-A-Million and its customers for continuing to show our Service Members that, no matter where they are serving, they are remembered and appreciated," said Amy Palmer, President & CEO of Soldiers' Angels.
The Coffee for the Troops program offers customers a simple but meaningful way to show appreciation for the men and women who serve the country both at home and abroad.
