About the Author
Corkey Mabrey was born in the small town of Bluefield, West Virginia, and grew up in a family with five brothers and five sisters. Although his family did not have much in material terms, they shared unconditional love and affection. He earned an Associate Degree in Aerospace Equipment Technology, equivalent to an industrial maintenance degree. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge.
After his military service, he worked for many years as a maintenance mechanic. Now retired, he lives in Panama and supports Hurting World Ministries in Boquete. He credits his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for guiding him throughout his life and inspiring him to share this story.
