Americas Cardroom is heading into the deciding weekend of its $15 million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms with consecutive starting flights on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30.
Saturday's newly added Bonus Flight and Sunday's final scheduled Day 1 both begin at 12:05 p.m. ET. The two $2,650 tournaments are the $12 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty Venom and the $3 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom.
Seven flights have put 3,072 NLH entries into the books, with 349 players moving forward to Day 2. The PLO has reached 781 entries and 91 Day 2 qualifiers. The NLH field remains well below the $12 million guarantee, creating the potential for substantial overlay value heading into the final weekend.
The leaders have created very different margins. PORKNOMAR sits first in NLH with 8,606,067 chips, around 215 big blinds. Winkyface1984 has built a much wider PLO advantage with 17,037,699 chips, around 608 big blinds.
Those already through are not limited to watching from the rail. A qualified player can enter another Day 1, advance another stack and combine the stacks for Day 2.
The supporting schedule grows with the main events. Saturday carries $355,000 in guaranteed Venom Specials, while Sunday has 13 Venom Specials with $2.34 million guaranteed in total.
Sunday is also the final day of Venom Fever, giving players one last chance to win one of 1,500 guaranteed Dual Venom seats for pennies on the dollar.
When Day 2 begins Monday, August 31, at 1:05 p.m. ET, every remaining player will be in the money and the Mystery Bounty phase will open. NLH offers a $500,000 top bounty, PLO has a $250,000 top bounty, and every successful Day 2 knockout pays a bounty of at least $5,000.
PLO advances from Day 2 to its final table. NLH returns for Day 3 on Tuesday, September 1, at 1:05 p.m. ET. The two tournaments are scheduled to finish Wednesday, September 2, at 4:05 p.m. ET.
