Rather than waiting for a direct command, the robot can proactively approach household members and initiate interaction based on what it senses. When someone appears to be feeling low, for example, it can take the initiative to respond with comfort or engagement.
The robot features a proprietary 2+1 multi-screen design that serves as one of its most recognizable interaction features. Two circular eye screens are dedicated to emotional expression, while a separate main screen displays information and supports direct interaction. This allows the OlloNi SS1 to communicate visually and express different emotional states without always requiring voice interaction.
Equipped with a 4K camera and motion tracking, the robot is designed to recognize individual family members and household pets. Over time, it learns routines, preferences, and communication patterns, allowing each unit to develop a personality shaped by the family it lives with.
Built-in temperature, humidity, ambient light, and spatial sensors help the robot understand changes in its surroundings. This awareness supports context-based reminders and brief activity records based on relevant interactions rather than continuous recording.

With user permission, the OlloNi SS1 can identify natural family moments such as laughter, hugs, and celebrations. Its AI-assisted Vlog feature can compile, edit, and add music to the footage, creating shareable home diaries without requiring someone to record manually.
The robot also supports remote viewing and two-way voice and video calls. Unlike a stationary camera, it can move around the home, follow activity, and initiate contextual check-ins, making remote family interaction feel more active and present.
Shared moments and personalized patterns are stored on the robot’s detachable “red heart” memory module, built with 16GB of RAM and 64GB of local storage. As the core carrier of the robot’s long-term memories and personalized information, the module allows these family-specific records to remain connected to the household even when the device changes. If the robot is upgraded or retired, the “red heart” module is designed to transfer family memories and personalized information to a future-generation OlloBot device.
Privacy by Design, Personalization at Heart
Household privacy is a central part of the OlloNi SS1’s design. The robot uses local encrypted processing and includes a physical camera cover. Recognition and family-moment capture features are designed to operate with user permission.
